erm,y'know.
I'm not really doin this so a lot of ppl can read my blog n i can horde up lotsa money.
I like bouncing ideas of people, and so long as theres SOMEONE comin and reading, ACTUALLY reading [ like you did], i'm fine. Its the creative part that interests me, and its fun.
the void you mentioned is part true, part imaginary.
But before you think i'm crazy, let me explain.
Theres tons of thoser loser bloggers who copy paste the same comments everywhere to drive people to their pages and click on the clickies.
There are even more number of guys who have an understanding to click on as many of each others' ads as possible etc. Mutual biz.
But there is also a HUUUUGe community online that does READ, and post.
so try and get in touch with these kind of people. Otherwise you can pretty much languish in anguish[gah.sad joke].
I hope i dont sound too much like Paulo Coelho. ;p

ya know, I actually don't get too many of those comments from the people just trying to make money (thank God!). Well, anyway, it is refreshing to know that you make the void a little less of a void (haha). It's all good though, Paulo ( ;-) )...how did you manage to delete so many comments silly? haha.
